Oakham Festival have requested No Photography! a special request was sent to Oakham Town Council requesting Cllr Martin Brookes does not photograph any festival events, silly festival forgot Oakham Town Council sponsors a number of free events so they had to add admission would be granted to non ticket holders for these free events.
I have no intention of photographing any of this years events which are mainly attended by friends of the festival, looking at the photographs in today's Rutland Times its a good job I chose not to go all the way up to Uppingham. I had a much more enjoyable day elsewhere.
I am hoping to find something more interesting to photograph, the public don't need to see festival committee members downing free booze again.
