The Wynd Shopping Centre, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire
I remember seeing the construction of this shopping centre, it look very smart but like most arcades people did not like to divert of the main shopping street to shop in it.
I work in a telephone shop for a few months and served very few customers.
That shop has now been converted into the public toilets. the others have had all the shop fronts removed and the site is now used as a indoor market.

When I was a boy I always wondered what all those blue rinsed grannies got upto inside the door. I peaked in one day and one old woman said go away you horrible little boy.
Not much change there except for the addition of a website address on the sign.
