Since the start of 2016 Cllr Michael Haley who runs the Oakham and Barleythorpe Neighbourhood
Plan working group has presented the council with copies of these dreadful and pointless reports.

Each month he produces 6 pages of pointless information for all members of the council.

By now I would have thought the working group would have provided the council with a
much more comprehensive report on progress etc.

The biggest joke is this Neighbourhood Plan is meant to be community led.

Cllr Skipton at a recent meeting was very critical of the recent survey sent out.

The response was very low.

Whilst on the subject of the Survey

At our last meeting, Cllr Michael Haley attempted to fob off a resident by saying the results of a Neighbourhood Plan Survey question had been sent to Rutland County Council as Oakham Town Councils input for the County Councils Town Centre 2018 Development proposals, Who gave Cllr Haley or the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group the Authority to present those results
as the Councils formal opinion or comment?

Working Groups have no powers to make decision but throughout the creation of the
NP Working Group / Steering Group they have and that includes spending public money.

The money is another interesting matter. When I asked Cllr Haley at a meeting if the council
had approved enough money for the postage and production of the Survey he responded
he did not know.

The Group has more than once gone over budget and then they billed the tax payers
for money they may receive as a grant from another organisation.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Stan Stubbs a Tory and former Town
Councillor and Current member of the non democratic Town Partnership
or better known as the club or nursing home for failed Town Councillors
members include the former Mayor Alf Dewis who resigned from the council
after auditors agreed some of his spending of public money was unlawful.


Stan Stubbs took to threatening me with his walking stick today.
Then he proceeded to leave the park in his car with out much due care
or attention.

Now I know why Councillor Lucas is telling people to warn me that
I might get run over for interfering in council business.

Stan Stubbs along with his pathetic threat of bashing me with his walking
stick added people don't just want you off the council they want you removed
from Oakham. apparently everyone who speaks to Stan Stubbs is demanding
this.

I am not bothered by his threats or comment what bothers me is he should
not be driving a car in Cutts Close Park but it would seem rules don't apply
to Stan Stubbs or Cllr Lucas who often drives and parks in the park to
avoid paying Rutland County Councils parking charges.

It is particularly wrong at this time due to the park being used by
children on School Holiday
