I turned on the Radio today and I was horrified to hear a news report referring to me as a controversial Councillor.
I sent a e-mail
received a very speedy response
'Dear Councillor Brookes, thank you for contacting us regarding the report on Rutland Radio today. I have asked them to remove the term controversial from future reports and will discuss it with the journalists when I see them tomorrow.
Clearly the resignation of three councillors and the row at the Council is controversial but you, as a Councillor, are not.
I hope you will speak to Rutland Radio again in the future and keep listening to the station.
Regards Linc's FM group'
Not much choice in Rutland So I guess I will still wake up to Rutland Radio in the morning.
