Royal British Legion, Poppy Party, Oakham Bandstand,  Rutland Concert Band will be performing at the Bandstand Cutts Close Oakham on June 12th 2011 this will launch this years Oakham Town Council Summer Band Concerts. The total cost of these concerts is £1960 against the budgeted figure of £2000

The Great Poppy Party Weekend

The Royal British Legion would love to see everyone join the nationwide celebrations of the 90th anniversary of The Royal British Legion so Oakham Town Council is hosting a Poppy Party on the 12 June 2011 for all bring family and friends, neighbours or work colleagues along to Cutts Close Oakham

Just join us and along with many local authorities throughout the UK in making it a memorable occasion for all those taking part.

At the same time the party will raise valuable funds to further the welfare work of the Legion for the future, 90 years and more of helping millions of beneficiaries - men and women who serve and have served their country at home and abroad, many at enormous personal cost to themselves and their families.
