It's getting very funny at the moment, someone put a brilliant poster up around Greetham telling the world what they thought about Brookes. Poor Brookesy, he hasn't got any transport so they're still plastered all over the villages!

Some of the posters were removed after transport was provided, it was decided that no further efforts would be made to remove anymore, the publicity would be good and possibly have a negative effect on my opponent Conservative Roger Begy. According to Conservative Peter Jones he was aware of these posters and one was displayed outside his home in Greetham so it is clear to me he supports the actions of these mindless bullies known as the Rutland Conservatives. So far it does seem to be working a lady stopped me in Oakham and said hello Mr Brookes I see from posters in Greetham you might be becoming my councillor. The good thing about the posters is they have my photo and details and most people don't have time to read the long list of rubbish that follows.

The Rutland Conservatives must be very worried, is this why they have resorted to continuing their childish behaviour during this election campaign.  Anyway thanks for the free publicity.

If anyone has read to the bottom of their posted or listened to the false rumour, The owner of Grafters of Oakham will confirm to anyone who asks, I was not sacked and the reason my employment ended would not effect any future employment prospects.

 

Interestingly this person refers to me as Brookesy something Paul Beech is rather found of doing. The above comment provoked the following email from Independent Candidate Paul Beech as you will see he thinks marking his rude and threatening e-mail Private and Personal I won't publish them. Well he is wrong.
