On Friday, 14th January 2011 the Executive Council of Rutland and Melton Conservatives met at the Whipper-In, Oakham in the presence of Francis The Duchess of Rutland to appoint candidates for the local election on 5th May 2011. Cllr Roger Begy proposed the following list and it was accepted by all members.
