Rutland County Council Development Control & Licensing Committee meet tonight to decide if they will approve a new budget hotel and a large pub and restaurant on the edge of Oakham.

The planning officers are recommending refusal, I don't think they could recommend anything else after the Sainsbury application. It will be interesting to see how councillors vote at the last meeting before Thursday's Election. Knowing public feeling and the great need for new jobs here in Oakham.
