Oakham Town Council, Rutland County Council, Oakham Castle Carol Concert

Rutland County Council let loss making venue to Mayor of Oakham for peanuts
Cllr Joyce Lucas found All Saints Church was not available to hold the traditional
Town Council Carol Service. So she decided to use Oakham Castle as the venue
knowing the cost of hiring the venue can run into hundreds of pounds I was concerned.

The Town Clerk has provided me with the following information.

Costs so far:
 
Temporary Events Notice - £21
Hire of Castle - £41 per hour. It is currently booked for 3 hours from 6pm - 9pm.
