Inspector Johnny Monks & SC Adam Lowe Leicester Police Rutland County Council Ignored No Politics Rule
Why did Geoff Pook the monitoring officer at Rutland County Council say he had no issue with Special Constable Adam Lowe being co-opted onto to Oakham Town Council?
Why did Inspector Monks not have a issue with this?
The police own rules state anyone involved in political activity can not serve in the force.
Inspector Johnny Monks became very involved in local politics, maybe that is why he was happy for one of
his specials to serve as a local councillor?
Cllr Adam Lowe is no longer serving with Leicester Constabulary he resigned after receiving a harassment order and "wanting to spend more time with his family and devoting more time to other charity work"
If his inspector had directed him correctly maybe just maybe he may not have involved himself in the dreadful local politics and would still be dressing up and playing PC Plod today?
