Catalytic Converter thefts in Leicestershire & Rutland

Across Leicestershire & Rutland there has been an increase in the theft of catalytic converters in recent weeks.

The vehicles targeted have been Ford Rangers, Toyota Hi- Lux, Mercedes - Benz  sprinter vans and clearly criminals have targeted our county to steal catalytic converters.

Due to the scrap value of metal this crime is on the increase and we are working with surrounding forces to target criminals, scrap dealers and alert our community.
