I have always wondered why there are signs were put up in a area of Welwyn Garden City asking people not to dig for bottles.
The other day I took a closer look and found the rule does not apply to the wildlife.
It looks like this area is full of bottles and old pottery. The rabbits appear to be busy digging new burrows and discarding the old bottles and pots.
