Leicestershire Constabulary New Computer Software Serious Security Concerns
The excuse for errors "We have a new computer system"
A very serious warning. On Tuesday Custody sergeant 404 Gallacher, refused my right to enter a response because he was in a hurry when charging me. He told me he was in charge, So I politely demanded to see his Inspector and for my Solicitor to be called. He said he would put a short reply on my custody record.
because he had closed the charge sheet and told me to sign using the electronic pad, I did as instructed.
I was then thinking he was entering my response on the custody sheet, once I was handed printed copies I found he had hacked the charge sheet and entered my response. I wonder what the chances are of the police entering a incriminating untruth after a person has left the police station. I would have thought the is a need for security to be put in place so that these important documents can not be amended after a suspect has signed it.
Since that evening the same document have been amended twice to correct court date and my date of birth.
The spelling mistake on the charge sheet remain.
