Rutland County Council elected Cllr Parsons as Chairman of the Council and Cllr Vernon as Vice Chairman of the Council.
Both of course the old Tory Guard.
Councillor Parson is the large gentleman who appears to be sponsored by Coca Cola always swigging from a bottle or can at council meetings.
Councillor Vernon is a female Tory and married just before the election and changed her name by marriage. I would not want to say she was re-elected because of this. The Voters would not have been thinking a new name meant a new candidate.
At long last we see a change almost at the top, we have to wait another 2 years to see the rotten leader go.
He and his mob fixed it so he claimed a four year term.
I am not sure if this will see a new cabinet if it does Cllr Plews deserves the boot.
