Today Her Majesty The Queen will be visiting Burghley House to join in the picnic with around 10,000 guests of the Lord Lieutenants of Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire & Cambridgeshire the four counties that border Stamford.
A group of children from many local schools, and many people who make a difference in our communities.
The Queen will be in a car, travelling across the town bridge, St Mary's Street, St John's Street, Red Lion Square, Red Lion Street, Broad Street, Star Lane, St Paul's Street, St George's Street, St George's Square and St Mary's Street and then back across the town bridge.
The Red Arrows will fly across Burghley at 2.30 when Her Majesty leaves the grounds and gets ready to travel through town.
