The funeral of John Stuart Hall was held at All Saint's Church Oakham Rutland.
Possibly one of the biggest turn outs for a funeral here in Oakham.
Mr Hall was serving in the Royal Anglian Regiment and he was afforded full military honours.
Mr Hall was also a member and biker with the Royal British Legion Riders.
His funeral cortege was escorted to the church and a regiment guard of honour stood outside.
After the service which was conducted by the regiments Army Chaplain Rev Paul Whitehead the funeral cortege was escorted to Kilburn Road Cemetery Hundreds of Family and Friends walked behind, police closed local roads to allow them free passage.
A trumpeter sounded and there was a six gun salute
