RSPB week of wildlife themed fun in Cutts Close park, Oakham.

To celebrate the start of the summer holidays, the RSPB will be holding a week of wildlife themed fun in Cutts Close park, Oakham.

You can join in with a different craft activity every day, marvel at the magical moths caught in the local area, or use the high-powered telescopes to spot local birds.

All activities are free, though donations are welcome.

If you fancy attracting more wildlife to your garden, or have seen something and don’t know what it is, there will be expert advice on hand.

The RSPB will be set up in the park from Monday 23 to Friday 27 July, 10 am to 4:30 pm.

Chris Andrews, RSPB Visitor and Promotions Officer, said “Why just plonk the kids in front of the telly this holiday, when they can come out, have fun with these great activities and learn something about nature too!”
