Suleman Nagdi MBE, Deputy Lieutenant of Leicestershire (DL) and
ex-Justice of the Peace is a family man married with three children. He
has been a resident of Leicestershire for over 36 years in which time he
has gained significant experience in the business and management
sectors; operating a successful business in the textiles industry. He
has also served for over 25 years as a volunteer and community advocate
of local, regional, national and international renown. His bid to become
Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and
Rutland, is a natural progression of his work within the criminal
justice system as a community advocate, a service which he has dedicated
himself to an outstanding degree of excellence for the past 15 years.
