The Pavilion Home Farm Close Burley Rutland CONSIDERATION FOR ENFORCEMENT ACTION by Rutland County Council
CONSIDERATION FOR ENFORCEMENT ACTION
The Pavilion Home Farm Close Burley Rutland
This Tuesday Rutland County Council will consider weather to take enforcement
action that might see the Demolition of an ugly £4 million development here in Rutland
The developer went bust and when the bank tried to sell the property it was found
much of the development did not have planning permission.
A huge failing by Rutland County Councils planning department or were they happy
to turn a blind eye?
The planning departed has been work to rectify this bungle, I use the word bungle
although I don't believe building control or planning officer did not know what was
going on at such a huge development?
Planning Officers are recommending the following for Tuesdays meeting at the council
office at 6pm tomorrow:
That members resolve not to pursue enforcement action in relation to
the minor unauthorised elements that remain on the building.
It is not therefore considered expedient to take enforcement action to remedy
the continuing breach.
