Small Youth Grants Fund

Up to £500 is available for young people in Rutland who are looking for a grant to help fund activities or learning.


The Rutland Youth Council is pleased to announce a small grants fund is now available and applications are encouraged for young people aged between 11 and 19.

Applications can be made for things like equipment (bidding for money to help pay for things to help with learning like camera equipment, beauty kits) or community activities (for example the cost of repainting a youth club).

To apply, you must be aged between 11 and 19, live in Rutland or attend a Rutland school.  

Your application must also have the support of an adult.

Each application should relate to one of the following 5 key topics:


·         Be Healthy - e.g. sports; healthy eating; safe sex
·         Stay Safe - e.g. anti-bullying; crime prevention; road safety
·         Enjoy & Achieve - e.g. Having a good time; learning new skills
·         Make a positive contribution - e.g. Youth forums; graffiti cleaning;   recycling, painting & decorating
·         Achieve economic wellbeing - e.g. gaining new skills; Accreditation, resources to develop skills
