29 local businesses in Oakham have joined together to host a unique initiative to celebrate local retailers and take the stress out of Christmas gift shopping. It is called the ‘Christmas Trail’. The campaign is launched today, 23rd November 2012, and will run until 10th December 2012 as part of a national initiative masterminded by Clare Rayner, The Retail Champion, founder of the “Celebrate an Independent Christmas” and “Independent Retailer Month” campaigns.
Pick Up A Map and Take Part in Prize Draw
Oakhams’ Christmas shoppers can pick up a map of the town marked with each of the businesses involved.
Collect the maps from any of the shops taking part and the Victoria Hall
Upon visiting each and receiving a stamp, they are automatically entered into a free draw to win a top prize of a luxury self-catering apartment anywhere in the world for 4 people for 7 nights, second prize and third prize will be vouchers up to the value of £200. The winners will be drawn on 10th December 2012 at 8pm.
The Prize Draw has been kindly donated by Savvi Travel.
