For
their autumn concert the SCO, under the inspiring direction of
conductor Ben Palmer, perform three pieces from early 19th century
Vienna. The trumpet soloist in the Concerto, Huw Morgan, was brass
winner of the BBC Young Musicians 2006, since when he has been in demand
for concert engagements throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
Founded in 1983, Stamford Chamber Orchestra has gained an excellent
local reputation for bringing high quality orchestral performances to
audiences in and around Stamford.
