It is good to see Rutland County Council insisted the roof tiles on this
extension are in keeping with the surrounding conservation area.
What I can't understand is why the same rules don't apply to larger
organisations like Oakham School?
It sort of reminds me of the owner of Ashwell Hall a large Tory donor
who found holes big holes had appeared in outside walls and the roof
had vanished from one of the buildings, so it had to be demolished and
a new building built.
