The Oakham Trees have been added to the avenue of recently planted trees at the recreation field.
Cllr Joyce Lucas, hopes the trees planted around the edge of the field will mark the route for dog
walkers so the mess that comes with that might be contain instead of the normal spread of dog mess that
is found on the football pitch and the children's play area.
Small plaques show Oakham Town Council used tax payers money
to buy the trees.
One tree was paid for by Mason Bob and Councillor Joyce Lucas
Another by the Weston Family
