Rutland County Council, Grabs Charity Property

Rutland County Council, Grabs Charity Property

Rutland County Council wasted £30,000 of public money converting former
Oakham public toilets and letting them to local charity Out Of The Rut,

The charity opened a veg shop and gave a very short period of employment
to a handful of disabled people and a local drug addict.

The council employed a man to run the project and he retired after a year and
the shop closed, not much forward planning by Rutland County Council.
He was a nice chap, he was even keen to employ me although Mrs Helen Briggs blocked
any chance of that.

A perfect example of how the council wastes public money.

I can't wait to see how much they are going to waste on the next project.
