Rutland County Council Purchases, Ashwell Prison, For business park
Rutland County Council says there is a need for small business units
despite the mostly vacant site they already own up the road and
various other sites throughout the county.
Rutland County Council plan to transform it into a 25-acre business park.
They are not yet considering using the prison to hold subversive opposition
members at this stage. Although it is understood the Chief Executive, Begy, King
and Plews and very keen to obtain a set of keys!
