Diocese of London Lent Appeal |
You may remember in April 2012 Bishop Richard Chartres welcomed our
Brazil team to St Paul's Cathedral, London. The good Bishop has
continued his support of the Street Child World Cup by announcing this
years London Diocese Lent Appeal will be in support of our Road to Rio
2014. The Bishop said: “Football can bring the world together and transform lives. It was thrilling to meet members of the Brazilian team from the 2010 Street Child World Cup. I heard about grim experiences in early life and the power of support and friendship to open up new hope and aspirations.” A big thank you to the Bishop and his team who have supported Street Child World Cup throughout our journey. You can sign up to the Lent appeal here through the Amos Trust |
