Charlotte Vernon last night was appointed chairman of rutland county council.
A county councillor told me that her first meeting was quite interesting. He said she appeared to not have a clue through out the meeting she had no legal advisor and kept looking to the chief excecutive for advice. Oh dear!
Tory edward baines was elected deputy chairman.
