Rutland county council met last night and I decided not to force of to pay back overpayments.
Taxpayers money has been given away total £83,271.
58 staff have also been underpaid £31,877 they will receive payments soon.
The staff who we're overpaid are all senior staff. The contract will be changed so that it appears they have not been over paid and I assume that means they will be entitled to further increased

I am told no legal officer was present last night.
