For the last couple of years rather like loo of the year Oakham Town Council paid
to enter the Green Flag Award.
On the day of judging the council pulls out the all the stops to make
sure the judges see a tidy park.
At the rest of the time like most public spaces its full of litter
the photographs below were taken last night.
If the sun shine the litter problem is a hundred times worse.
despite the dozens of litters bins in the park.
