Oakham Town Councillor, Joyce Lucas once again thinks its
a nice day to take the car for a spin in the local park.
"I'll have you know I've been a Councillor for years, my hubby Bob's is a Mason
we have friends just across the road (police station) in high places so we can do as we please"
Although Councillor Lucas claims to ignore me, she did take notice of me when
I pointed out Bob had consumed a few shandy's in the nearby pub and driving
was not really advisable. He was sent packing as she drove of in the other direction,
Bob was once reported to the police by a member of the public for drink driving and his
chum Johnny Monks let him off, it was rumoured the Inspector is a member of the same lodge.
Oakham Town Council once again won a Green Flag for Cutts Close?
The Tidy Britain Rules state a park entering must not permit the use of
cars, accept in the case of Cllr Joyce Lucas and any other Oakham Councillor.
