Getting to know one of your Oakham Town Councillors a little better. This week introducing Sally-Anne Wadsworth.
Oakham Town Council introducing Sally-Anne Wadsworth. Many of you will know Sally-Anne either through her business based in Oakham Town Centre or through the extensive work she has undertaken since joining the council. Sally-Anne works diligently behind the scenes with a particular passion for events including the summer band concerts and the Christmas light switch on.
Sally-Anne says:
"My name is Sally-Anne Wadsworth I was Co opted on to Oakham town council to representing the North East ward In February 2016.
I have lived and worked in Oakham all my life. I run my own business in town, kids and more, for the last 13years. I have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren, one which we are guardians of.
I have been involved in bringing new and exciting events into the town. This year we have already held a treasure hunt in the town. We have a total of 9 bands booked over the summer not including the 6 bands booked over the August Bank Holiday.
I have been involved in the renewal of the Christmas lights and the introduction of the cone Christmas tree. This year I helped to work with the mill Street traders to instate the icicle lights.
I love meeting local people who have great stories to tell and looking at the history of our beautiful town."

Oakham Town Councillor, Leicester Fire & Rescue Service Management Corruption
Last night an Oakham Town Councillor who asked not to be named told me
"the management of the fire service is corrupt" and that is where the blame
firmly lies for the present round of cuts.
They also added "take a look at the new HQ"
I had previously but only on-line.
Yes it's new it only cost £11 million.
The Authority is Chaired by a Rutland Conservative. Strange how the
word corruption keeps popping up when Rutland Conservatives are
involved.
I can't imagine why?

Cllr Charles Haworth, Oakham Town Councillor, Homophobic Harasser calls me a liar,
Homophobic Councillors Reprimanded Cllr Adam Lowe for not offering more support
than reminding Cllr Charles Haworth he was being recorded.
At the end of May 2014 I asked Cllr Charles Haworth questions about his disgusting
conduct towards me, Oakham Mayor Councillor Jayne Woodcock friend of Haworth
and his partners in crime finds my questioning offensive. Why?
After the meeting I ask Councillor Haworth if he was going to apologise for his disgraceful
conduct towards members of our community, he responded calling me "childish"
Since I filmed and asked Cllr Haworth he has not attended any meetings. Although he
did spend a considerable amount of public money from the promotion of Oakham Budget
for his dreadful party in the park.

Council chief talks about impact of blogger in court as some charges are dropped
27 September 2013
A council chief has spoken in court about the impact a prolific blogger has had on her work and home life.
Chief executive of Rutland County Council, Helen Briggs, was giving evidence at Leicester Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday) against Martin Brookes, who is charged with harassing and stalking her.
Brookes is also charged with stalking and harassing Oakham town councillor Charles Howarth however, two other charges of harassing and stalking police officer Christopher Wharton were dismissed yesterday at the request of prosecutor John Western.
During the third day of the trial, Mrs Briggs was cross-examined by Brookes’ defence solicitor David Swingler.
He suggested that many of Brookes’ blog posts, which include accusations of “bullying”, having a “special relationship” with the police and misusing public money for her own benefit, were reasonably held opinions.
He argued that under article 10 of the Human Rights Act, Brookes was exercising his freedom of expression.
Mr Swingler said: “It doesn’t mean what he is saying is right, but it is his right to say it.”
The defence questioned why Mrs Briggs is only taking action against Brookes and not other people who have questioned her conduct, including Private Eye magazine which published an article about “rotten” Rutland.
Mrs Briggs said: “This has been going on for years. I ignored it initially because I thought that was a sensible thing to do. It’s not about anything in the last six months - I have to take into account the cumulative impact of his behaviour.
“The Private Eye article made very uncomfortable reading. I wouldn’t agree it was acceptable but it was not sustained. It was an isolated incident.”
Mrs Briggs added: “He (Brookes) has a right to express his opinion but I’m here because of the cumulative impact of his statements.
“There are acceptable degrees of criticism and there are subject areas that are uncomfortable for my family and colleagues.
“I have never before had to explain to my family and friends why things are appearing on blogs about the way I conduct my job.”
Mrs Briggs admitted she had never directly asked Brookes to remove his blog posts or correct their inaccuracies.
Extracts were read out from Brookes’ blog, one which said she used council money to “fund her hobby” of cycling by making a contribution to the Rutland-Melton International CiCLE Classic.
In response, Mrs Briggs said: “Mr Brookes always jumps to the conclusion that whatever I do, whether that be cycling or having contact details for the police, that my motive is always inappropriate or worse.”
Earlier in the day the court heard evidence from Det Sgt David McDonald, who had interviewed Mrs Briggs about Brookes’ behaviour.
He claimed the main issue of the case is the way Brookes publishes his comments rather than the actual content of his blogs and e-mails.
He said: “The method in which he deliver his criticisms is a mechanical method of attacking a person’s character.
“I see the issue is the robust way he used modern communications to get out his message.”
The trial had previously heard that Oakham town councillor Charles Howarth had set up an anonymous blog called The Laughing Stocks which he had used to attack Brookes.
When Det Sgt McDonald was asked why Mr Howarth had not been charged for the content of his blog, he said: “Both (blogs) were as bad as each other but I didn’t believe we would get a prosecution if it was brought to court.”
The defence also questioned evidence provided by Mr Howarth earlier in the week, who claimed he had received “dozens” of phone calls and messages from Brookes and seen him loitering outside his home.
Mr Swingler asked for the charges relating to Mr Howarth’s “weak, vague and inconsistent” evidence to be dismissed as he believed there was no case to answer.
But district judge John Temperley ruled that the credibility of the evidence was not questionable enough to drop the charges.
The case will resume at Loughborough Magistrates Court on October 8.
Police officer closed personal Twitter account because of ex-town councillor, court told
24 September 2013
A rather foolish officer, At the time, the way the corrupt police were dealing with my complaints
or not as was the case, I would have published any officers Tweets, if they were of the same critical nature. This was his fib in court under oath: “I made a couple of work-related tweets and Mr Brookes used that information and blogged about me, making it impossible to keep it open.” A senior detective gave evidence to which pointed out the Sgt Wharton was asked by his senior officers to close his account, he also pointed out in his statement how Sgt Wharton had agreed he it was a
mistake for him to have publicly tweeted attacks against the police force and home secretary.
I don't agree with that if as he said things were bad for Leicestershire Police Officers at the time
then he should be able to tweet it to the world. What he should not do is try to stitch some one like
me up when they raise those tweets with the force as a possible reason for their continual failings.
Rutland Times Report the day before Sgt Wharton's case was thrown out of court:
A police officer had to close his personal Twitter account after a former Oakham town councillor used information from the site on his personal blog, a court heard.
Sgt Christopher Wharton told district judge John Temperley at Leicester Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday) that a number of his tweets from his personal account were copied into Martin Brookes’ blog and distributed to a wider audience.
Brookes, 47, of Willow Crescent, Oakham, denies three charges of harassment and three charges of stalking Sgt Wharton, Oakham town councillor Charles Howarth and Rutland County Council chief executive Helen Briggs.
Giving evidence this morning, Sgt Wharton told the court: “I made a couple of work-related tweets and Mr Brookes used that information and blogged about me, making it impossible to keep it open.”
The court heard that a photograph on Sgt Wharton’s Twitter account taken on a family day out was also copied from the account and sent to police colleagues, the Police Professional Standards department and Rutland MP Alan Duncan by Brookes, a former Oakham town councilor. Other tweets about work-related matters were sent to the same people.
Defending solicitor David Swingler said as some of the tweets related to police matters they were not personal and the lines between professional and personal had been blurred.
The trial continues.
Cllr Haworth own words prove he is unfit for public office

Cllr Charles Haworth, Oakham Town Councillor, Homophobic Harasser calls me a liar
and the lies he said in court.
He has not attended a council meeting since I last filmed in May 2014, strangely Oakham Town
Council still support him and have allowed him to spend thousands on a fun day today in Cutts Close. Something the full council said would not happen again.
I am NOT a Liar Cllr Haworth and was you gesturing not a little childish.

Cllr Charles Haworth, Homophobic, Oakham Town Councillor, Disqualification is heading his way
Since May 2014 Homophobic Councillor Charles Haworth has not attended any meetings,
He has stopped sending apologies if the six month rule is applied by Oakham Town Council
he should be disqualified by November 2014 it could be earlier if what I am led to believe that
the overall attendance record is taken into account.
I believe this was once the case for a female Rutland County Councillor who was disqualified.
Cllr Haworth is not contactable by email or phone. Not something you would expect from a Councillor. He should do the decent thing and resign and take his chums like Cllr Joyce Lucas
with him who has also racked up a considerable amount of absence from meetings including last
night.

Cllr Charles Haworth, Oakham Town Councillor, Homophobic Crude and Vulgar Comments made using Rutland County Council Computers
It is very odd that Leicestershire Police can not find evidence of his hate campaign, when I can lawfully and very easily obtain evidence of his and other councillors actions going right back 2010.
It's very pleasing to find they have been so organised and very nice to see a screen shots taken from Rutland County Council Library Computers.
The lies Geoff Pook used to tell me when I gave him the IP address, times and the councils internet provider, no wonder he ran off this January

I've lost my rag, time to get nasty and nastier
attached to the above email is a word document highlighting unusually not such an offensive comment
shown below.
Apparently on that day he and Rutland County Council were upset set about my comments about
the demolition of a good brick built school and the replacement with a timber frame building.
Information about the
school
Hailey Hall School is a residential special school for
boys who have behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (BESD). About one
third have weekly boarding places for four nights a week. The accommodation,
opened in 1967, is purpose built. The school population is drawn from all parts
of Hertfordshire, so some pupils have very long journeys. All the pupils have a
statement for their special educational needs. The majority of pupils are White
British. Eight children are looked after by the local authority. The proportion
of pupils who join or leave the school at times other than the usual time of
admission or leaving is larger than average. Many of the pupils who join the
school have been excluded from other schools and have missed significant
amounts of schooling. The needs of the pupils are becoming increasingly
complex, and approximately a third of them have mental health issues. After the
previous inspection, the school experienced a period of staff turbulence with
the resignation of the previous headteacher. The current headteacher has been
in post for two years, but there are still several temporary appointments on
the staff. The school has Eco-school statusFriday, September 06, 2013
Oakham Town Councillor, Stan Stubbs, How many more fibs? or mistakes? is he going to make, before his first meeting
As a very close neighbour of our Town Clerk, I am sure he is going to fit in nicely on our town council.
"He hopes his previous experience of being chairman of a Parish Council and serving on County Council grants committees will help his work on the town council.
Above Taken from Oakham Town Council website 6th Sepember 2013
Cllr Stan Stubbs also told voters via the Rutland Times he was a Wiltshire County Councillor.
I have now received a full reply from the Parish Clerk of Wiltshire Parish Council, which Cllr
Stubbs resigned from under a cloud.
Dear Martin
Thank you for this and just writing now with a follow up/in full reply – I have checked with a Unitary Councillor on the Amesbury Area Board at Wiltshire Council and can confirm in reply to your first query that Mr Stan Stubbs was not a Wiltshire County Councillor and secondly that Mr Stan Stubbs served as an advisor on the grants committee of the Amesbury Area Board which is part of Wiltshire Council.
I hope that the above answers your queries.
Kind regards

Oakham Town Councillor, Joyce Lucas once again thinks its
a nice day to take the car for a spin in the local park.
"I'll have you know I've been a Councillor for years, my hubby Bob's is a Mason
we have friends just across the road (police station) in high places so we can do as we please"
Although Councillor Lucas claims to ignore me, she did take notice of me when
I pointed out Bob had consumed a few shandy's in the nearby pub and driving
was not really advisable. He was sent packing as she drove of in the other direction,
Bob was once reported to the police by a member of the public for drink driving and his
chum Johnny Monks let him off, it was rumoured the Inspector is a member of the same lodge.
Oakham Town Council once again won a Green Flag for Cutts Close?
The Tidy Britain Rules state a park entering must not permit the use of
cars, accept in the case of Cllr Joyce Lucas and any other Oakham Councillor.
Oakham Town Councillor, Honesty and Disclosure, Holiday in America
If you have been arrested you must declare it whether or not that arrest resulted in conviction. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 does not extend to the USA so you must declare all convictions regardless of whether they are classed as spent or not.
This afternoon an Oakham Town Councillor, who was arrested in January and bailed until September 2013
for their conduct against me and others was boasting that they were going on holiday to America in two weeks.
I wonder if the honest Councillor has disclosed the arrest? or will they be absent from my trial in September
because the authorities in America have arrested them for non disclosure a serious offence in America.
I am sure they have also disclosed the following to the Department of Employment here in the UK.
If you are going abroad your JSA stops as you are no longer 'available for work'
It must cause the Councillor a lot of inconvenience if for the past 9 years of claiming JSA they have had to declare leaving the country every time they take a luxury holiday abroad.
I wonder if they are visiting their far right friend Lee Kington who seems to have lost all his internet sites, which resulted in the loss of the Rutland Chat forum, he hosted in America for the far right of Rutland here in the UK. Because they felt they would be out of reach of UK laws.

http://bruno-politicalincorrectnessthetruth.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/lee-kington-and-sean-hannity-forums.html
To think this nice American chap took over the running of a UK forum for a bunch of far right Rutland Political people here in Little Rutland after Rutland County Council pulled the plug on their fun here.
Due to an increasing amount of inappropriate, offensive and defamatory postings, the decision to remove the public forum from www.rutnet.co.uk was jointly taken by ROL Solutions and Rutland County Council.
http://www.rutnet.co.uk/forum
Due to the nature of a web forum, ROL are unable to provide round-the-clock support to this facility, and offensive postings were in some cases not removed for 24-48 hours. This prompted complaints from local residents.
Despite repeated warnings during recent weeks, those using the forum continued to ignore forum guidelines and the decision was taken to shut the forum facility.
The Councillor who I can not name for legal reason here used the name Lardboy on that disgusting Rutland Oline forum.

Cllr Charles Haworth, Oakham Town Councillor, Reluctant to leave police station
Cllr Charles Haworth, Oakham Town Councillor, Reluctant to leave police station
Cllr Haworth refused to leave Oakham Police yesterday, claiming my presence on the public highway scared
him?
I was approached by a plain clothes officer who explained the problem to me after flashing his warrant card.
I suggested I was willing to stand across the road to capture my image, if that made him feel a little more
comfortable. This was agreed. The police officer did not want a breach of the peace.
It is not known why Councillor Haworth looking quite tired and shabby was visiting Oakham Police station
or why he was taken to a back interview room by a plain clothes female officer,
Or why he would be scared of me?
He made an attempt to leave, but felt he could not and closed the door, I am not sure if the officer who can be see standing and holding the inner door pushed him out for the second attempt.
Cllr Haworth's nearby neighbours are equally puzzled as to why the police took him away
on the 17th January this year the day the police told me they had arrested a person and took away two computers belonging to that person.
Cllr Haworth selecting a track on his limited edition chrome ipod, using the words of his friends an
affordable purchase for a person long term unemployed.
If you have any questions to put to Cllr Haworth he will be holding a surgery at Victoria Hall on Saturday
morning with Cllr Lucas.
Cllr Haworth refuses to deny the allegations of his arrest, he would do well to refer to his code of conduct which requires honesty and openness.

Cllr John Nowell, Oakham Town Councillor, Derbyshire Leicestershire Rutland Air Ambulance, Charity, organiser, interviewed under caution by Leicestershire Police Economic Crime Unit
On Monday Oakham Town Councillor John Nowell and Mrs Nowell were both interviewed
under police caution by a Leicestershire Constabulary Detective.
Both were released pending further investigations.
This morning Oakham Town Council appeared to be unaware of this development.
I also sent a message to the Deputy Mayor Cllr Adam Lowe, who stated he was unaware of the case.
he said he could not call me, because he was in a meeting with a solicitor and his phone was on silent,
Here 's hoping Cllr Lowe has not been naughty again.
