Stan was elected onto the Council at the South East Ward election on the 15th August 2013.
He has always been interested in local community matters helping to maintain the community's quality of life.
Oakham is a wonderful tourist area, Stan is keen to preserve the amenities and attractions to help bring visitors to the area for the benefit of local traders. He is also interested in working to improve and develop facilities for young people. He feels it is important to identify the needs of the community to help make and keep Oakham a safe place to live.
He hopes his previous experience of being chairman of a Parish Council and serving on County Council grants committees will help his work on the town council.
(He forgot to mention his resignation for misconduct. The grovelling letter sent by his Parish
Council, to the leader and officers of the county council.
He will fit nicely into this Rotten Borough, oh! and he is not Independent he is a Conservative supporter)
