Disabled Toilet Oakham Bus Station Alarm Not Monitored and All Tied Up Photographs Rutland County Council.
Rutland County Council spent nearly one million pounds on the unfinished Oakham Bus Station, because they ran out of money.
The disabled toilet alarm is the latest issue. The council displays the normal council office hours reception phone number suggesting the public call if the think a disabled person needs assistance. The alarm is not monitored? What happens when the council is closed? It has been pointed out to me the council have solved that issue by tying the pull cord up out of reach!
I would point this out to the Oakham Town Council rep on Rutland Access Group, but as it is Homophobic, Racist, Anti Semetic Cllr Charles Haworth, I won't.
