The first show at the new showground here in Oakham. The new location is much better than the previous and the sun appeared all day.






Traffic as always was a problem.

Plenty of parking which soon filled up and the industrial estate became a good place to park the car.

Oakham Town Council had both it's two gazebo's out and sent the worse of its councillors.
For most of the day, Homophobic and Racist, Cllr Charles Haworth was sitting in the middle assisted by his friend Cllr Joyce Lucas, shown above with Rutland County Councillor (Tory) Edward Baines.

Once again dwelling on the past displaying projects completed as far back as 2009.

There were various display in the main arena, including
Dogs from Army, RAF, MOD and Military Police, Defence Animal Centre based in Melton Mowbray.
Every canine and equine member of the Army, RAF, MOD and Military Police is trained at the Defence Animal Centre.



There was a large display of classic vintage cars.



There was also a display of vintage farm tractors.

For Rutland in Rutland a new charity set up by those who used to support Macmillan Cancer Support
The new charity will raise funds for Rutland people who suffer Cancer or Alzheimer's, the charity was launched with the annual tombola with 1000's of prizes which contribute to the biggest cause of cancer if abused.

Larkfleet Homes Closed most of the time, I guess they followed Tory Chief Executive Helen Briggs into the members paddock.



Not sure if these people are waiting for the opening of Marks & Spencer Simply Food or they were enjoying the sun in Oakham's industrial estate. Most newly built homes don't have much of a garden these days.
