JOIN US FOR GALA IN THE GARDENS NEXT WEEKEND
Stephens House & Gardens is hosting a traditional gardens fete on 27th July 2014 between 12 noon and 5pm. It is run in conjunction withLove Parks Week. There will be a range of activities for the children including kid’s sports challenges & races, juggling, hula hooping, face painting and a bouncy castle.  There will also be a Pimms & beer tent, BBQ and other foods stalls.  Various local charities will have a table, along with craft and book stalls. Avenue House Estate Trust volunteers will be running a Tombola Stall, and the Friends of Stephens House & Gardens have a “guess the weight of the cake” competition. Musical entertainment will be provided by Barnet Band. Now the Trust has been awarded a £2.1million HLF grant, come along and see what we have in store for the Grade II listed gardens & outbuildings. Entry to the gardens is free, although there will be a nominal charge (£2 adult, £1 child & £5 per family) for access to the activities area.
