Leicester City Council investigators access employees' email and internet records

The Leicester City Council’s latest annual counter-fraud report says it sought permission 33 times to look at employees’ computer use.
Investigators were looking into cases of cheque manipulation, counterfeiting, theft, employees carrying out private work on the city council clock or while on sick leave and corruption surrounding contracts and the misuse of council facilities.

Oakham Town Council Dedication and Commitment

Oakham Town Council Dedication and Commitment

Since the last full Oakham Town Council meeting, I have
been attempting to get Oakham Town Council to comply
with new local government law that states there should
be no hidden documents at meetings. Everything should
be made available to the public.

At the last meeting the chairman referred to a pink pack
which contained application letters from co-option
candidates and undisclosed other information.

The Town Clerk has written to me stating no documents
were distributed at the meeting. So they can not provide
me with anything.

The Video evidence is very clear, the chairman refers
to the distributed pack and asks members to refer to
the content when making up their mind who to vote
for.

I raised the issue with a councillor and received the
text shown above. I admire their commitment to
the role of Councillor!

I think this confirms what I have said for a long
time Town Councillor are only rubber stamping
and don't really care about our town.

Radio DJ Dr Fox was today arrested at Magic Radio's Soho studio in connection with alleged sexual offences.

The married 53-year-old, whose full name is Neil Fox, was today being quizzed by police over two claims of sexual misconduct – one historic, and one more recent.

Bauer Media, which owns Magic FM, confirmed the arrest in a statement to the Standard and said his show would be off air for the foreseeable future while the claims are dealt with.

Harington School, sixth-form free school, has been approved by the Department for Education, Good News For Rutland

Catmose College, Uppingham Community College and Oakham School
are delighted to announce that plans for their academic sixth-form free school,
Harington School, have been approved by the Department for Education.

Harington will provide a rigorous A-level academic education, focusing on the
core subjects, for 300 local pupils (150 intake per year). It will offer a high quality
sixth-form provision to students from the local area, including those from Catmose
College, Uppingham Community College and Casterton Business and Enterprise College.

Stuart Williams, Principal of Catmose College, comments “This is the fruition of

seven years of commitment and determination by the schools in Rutland to raise
the aspirations of our post-16 students and offer them a high quality academic
sixth form that will allow them to go on and attend our best universities.”

The School will offer a curriculum designed to develop individual and academic

potential, opening the doors to the most prestigious universities. Students will
also be given the opportunity to extend their learning, for example by completing
the Duke of Edinburgh award, viewed favourably by higher education providers.

Jan Turner, Principal of Uppingham Community College, says “This is extremely

exciting news for all the young people of Rutland and will provide an outstanding
opportunity for future generations to come. I am delighted that the Department for
Education has recognised the need for this provision and the strength of the team
that will work together to ensure its success.”

"The Trustees and Senior Leadership Team at Oakham School are delighted with

today's announcement," says Headmaster Nigel Lashbrook. "This is a fantastic
opportunity for us to work in partnership with Catmose College and Uppingham
Community College, to give all the young people in Rutland the opportunity and
choice they deserve to develop academically, and to gain access to a leading university."

The bid team have now entered the next stage, the pre-opening phase, which

will see a rapid development of their plans. Representatives from the bid team
will be attending a launch event in London on 16 October. Following that, they will
release further details, including how to apply for a place. Nigel Lashbrook adds
"There is clearly a lot of hard work to follow this announcement, but we at Oakham
School are all committed to working in partnership to make Harington School a
resounding success."

People are invited to support the School and stay abreast of developments by

liking the School’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/haringtonschool Regular updates
of key events will also be posted on their website, where people can also register to
be added to the mailing list:www.haringtonschool.com.

Rutland County Council, Exaggerating Legal Bully Boys

Rutland County Council Claim my protests outside their office are to loud and causing
alarm, harassment and distress.

Many people passing have made comments supporting me and others smile.

As for the noise its not that loud if you watch the video below you can hear
the footsteps of Edward Baines Tory Deputy Chairman as he approaches
and smiles.

Joshua Briggs, Legal Executive at Wilkin Chapman Grange Solicitors, Grimsby, Advice From My Advocate, Rutland County Council

My successful legal eagle, Advocate and Prosecutor has given me the following
advice in relation to Rutland County Councils unreasonable demands.

Just ignore it.

You certainly shouldn't sign any undertakings or apologise!.

But, maybe you should work on the basis that your protest has worked and move on to the next stage.

Maybe those who follow you would like to see how council money is being spent on bullyboy tactics like this!!

I am curious to know if it's lawful for a legal executive / Trainee Solicitor to sign off this type of spurious demand?

And I wonder did the adorable Peter-Keith Lucas of Bevan Brittan, expert provincial lawyer for prize winning bullying councils hang up on Helen Briggs?

A person not legally trained suggest this advice:

'I'd like to suggest the famous Arkell vs Pressdram response, but then I am not a lawyer'

Rutland County Council (DC) Legal Bullies of the year, Private Eye, Will they never learn? Wilkin Chapman Grange Solicitors

Rutland County Council are living up to their Private Eye Award as Legal Bullies of the Year

During my two weeks of protest at Rutland County Council

They have called the police and fortunately the police have upheld my right to protest.

Today once again the police confirmed my right to protest outside the council, Sgt J Hodson of Leicestershire Police during my protest was very courteous.

Today the council despite this sent me the letter shown below from a legal executive in Grimsby.

The letter is extraordinary.

Considering the the gentleman has not been fully informed of the harassment I have
endured over many years, at the hands of local politicians and the Chief Executive
and their corrupt local police who are currently subject to an ongoing investigation
which could lead to criminal proceedings being brought by the Anti Corruption Unit
of Leicestershire Police.

For Rutland County Council to demand an apology from me is a travesty of common justice and the height insolence.

I can fully understand why Mrs Briggs and co, does not want to tolerate my presence at the
council entrance.

Over the last two weeks, I have seen a lot of unhappy RCC customers. Today
two members of the public spoke to me and raised allegations of harassment by the daughter of Cllr
Edward Baines, She is an Uppingham Town Councillor. The people claim
her behaviour is unacceptable, perhaps like so many of my foes, they suggest
the over consumption of liquid refreshment might be the cause. (I have had to tone down their comments)

Trolls of Rotland.v Laura Norder

Dishonest RCC claim my protest in causing alarm and distress, Please can they explain
why most people smile.

Is Roger Begy's and Edward Baines' smile just a smile of embarrassment?

The council claim the noise is excessive, I wonder what the Decibel levels are from
my tiny speakers. I am sure well within legal limits.
