Oakham Town Council Breaks the 1960's Act, No one Appears To Enforce Laws at the Council, Two Councillor Co-options unlawful

Oakham Town Council Breaks the 1960's Act,
No one Appears To Enforce Laws at the Council,
Two Councillor Co-options unlawful.

For the last 5 years I have been subjected to harassment from
Oakham Town Councillors and their chums for pointing
out how they are constantly breaking laws and running a
costly private members club.

This of course resulted in the corruption of the local police
who dragged me before the court on a number of trumped
up charges.

Many were dropped and followers of my blog will know
those that were not dropped included the dishonest
Rutland County Council Chief Executive  Helen Briggs
and the Homophobic Troll Cllr Charles Haworth. Both
now claim the lies and disgraceful conduct were carried
out in their private capacity.

It's a Disgrace, They should resign along with those
Councillors who supported them.

They are all a disgrace to our Town and County.

And that includes Lady Lucas BEM.

Sent to the Monitoring Officer and Election Commissioner.

I have received a letter from Oakham Mayor Jayne Woodcock, in response to my concerns about the co-options of 2013.

The Town Council has received advice from NALC the advice concludes the councils reasons are
unlikely to be consistent with section 1(2) of the 1960 act.

The Mayor finishes her letter stating practices have now been changed.

This in my mind does not conclude the matter.  The two co-options are unlawful because correct procedures were not followed.

One of the councillors resigned, one remains, Cllr Martin who is apparently qualified in law, she should resign and re-apply for the current vacancy. Surely it is against her legal principles to remain in office.

It has been suggested all those Councillors and the Clerk should resign for breaking the law, and fixing the co-options.

Cllr Martin told myself and a member of the public outside RCC, just before the local by-election "if I am not elected I am told I will be co-opted.

Oakham Town Council constantly breaks the local government act.

But there seems to be no way to enforce it. The town council employs a clerk and pays far to much for very consistent poor advice and the clerk is constantly offended when I point this out.

Its a disgrace.

Town Councillors are not qualified, it is about time the employed a person who is qualified to give the correct advice.
