Oakham School Purchases Former Police Station for peanuts it's almost criminal

Oakham School Purchases Former Police Station for peanuts it's almost criminal

When Leicestershire Police decided they were going to close Oakham Police
Station they had already done a deal with Oakham School. After they heard
this was public knowledge they decided to put the property on the market
asking for around £700,000 for a property which cost Leicestershire County
Council over £2,000,000 to construct. The marketing was limited and now
Oakham School has paid peanuts for the public property.

I wonder if Oakham School will reveal how much they have paid
or is a freedom of information request of Leicestershire Police going
to confirm what is rumoured?
