Oakham Town Council North West Election Nominations To Be Published Monday.
The deadline passed this afternoon for nominations. One of the prospective
candidates has confirmed they did not submit their nomination due to personal
reasons.
It is highly like the election will be uncontested and if rumours are true
and the anonymous text message, Mr Jim Harrison a former Mayor and
best friend of mine will be returning to the council.
I shall look forward to working with the friendly homophobe who shares
photos of me just for a laugh and sends emails to all saying:
'Brookes' I hate the bastard with a vengeance"
Should be fun!
The local press covered Mr Harrison's resignation back in 2010 his friend and another
former Mayor also resigned on the day I attended my first ever meeting, Later on Mr Harrison filmed the former Mayor and other woman and published it on youtube the film showed women including our former mayor lining up to stand in front of his camera stripping their lower clothes in the street bending over and exposing their dignity at a daytime party.

TWO more councillors have stepped down from Oakham Town Council, leaving its membership now at just nine.
Last week former mayor Jim Harrison announced he was standing down as he felt he was unable to work alongside newly-elected town councillor Martin Brookes.
Oakham Town Council confirmed this week that former mayor Sue Tyers and Alan Kelly have both handed in their resignations as well.
Mrs Tyers, who had been on the town council for 12 years, stated that, like Mr Harrison, she was unwilling to work with Coun Brookes.
Mr Kelly gave the same reasons for his resignation. Both handed in their official resignation letters to town clerk Richard White.
Oakham Town Council said due process was underway to find the outgoing councillor's replacements.
Elections to find new town councillors will be held at a later date.
The authority declined to comment further on the resignations or its impact in reducing the town council's membership.
Coun Brookes was appointment town councillor for the North West ward after Julie France stepped down from her position due to work commitments.
He expressed his disappointment at the resignations of Mr Harrison, Mrs Tyers and Mr Kelly.
But he went on to stress his determination to try and build and maintain good working relationships with his fellow councillors.
He said: "Resigning over personal dislikes is not a course of action I would take.
"I will not place personal relationships ahead of professional, important council business.
"I shall be dedicated to the council and its work to improve Oakham for all those we serve.
"I hope whoever takes on the vacant roles to serve in Oakham also shows the same dedication to council business and desire to work for Oakham so the town may reap the benefits."
Coun Brookes said he was concerned about proposals to get rid of the minor injuries untit at Rutland Memorial Hospital.
He said he intended to raise the issue at next the week's full Oakham Town Council meeting, which will be held at Victoria Hall.
