Rutland Radio News How is it possible for a Councillor to Leak a decision from a meeting held in public? Cottesmore Hunt Ban

The news item suggest the public are seeking the council overturns it decision. Although they
don't state who these people are.

I have received many message thanking the council

Whilst typing this I have just received this one from a resident who was present at
last night's public meeting.

by the way i'm totally against the hunt meet. excellent decision and was bloody glad I was there to see it!!

The whole hunt matter is very political and is the main reason I objected to the use of Cutts Close
The Town Council have in the past voted against other political uses.

Although the the following email is addressed to all Cllrs from the Chairman Alf Dewis
it was not sent to me. I had to request a copy from the office. Cllr Dewis has apologised for forgetting to include me in the list.

Dear All

It appears that we are in a maelstrom of criticism and complaints about last night's meeting.  Would all members please take a step back and think about what happened but not continue the internal criticism.  If you are contacted by the press for comment you should refer them to either the Press Officer (Adam) or myself.  If everyone engages in comments to the press there will probably be half a dozen differing views that will make us look unprofessional and quite possibly open to ridicule.
Inward contemplation for the moment please.

Regards

Alf

This afternoon Cllr Adam Lowe Oakham's Deputy Mayor can be heard on Rutland Radio he is publicly critical
of the council decision.

I sent him a text message via his publicly advertised number questioning his comments and received the following response.

"This is a private number. Stop sending texts or i will report u for harrasment."
