Oakham Town Council releases timetable of events for Sunday's Queens Birthday Party In The Park
After nearly a year of incredible effort from Oakham Mayor Adam Lowe and the adorable
cuddle granny Cllr Joyce Lucas who both took a well deserved break from the organising
before handing over all to fellow Councillors a few weeks ago.
All I can say is well done to both Cllrs Lowe and Lucas for providing the community
with a fun packed day of varied event including Maypole dancing in June.
I must also thank them for their helpful interventions that prevented the town from having its own street party which they wanted.

Timetable of events for Sunday
The event is running from 1-6
Car Boot will be running all day from 9.00am
Wrinkle rock will be playing 3 slots 1.30-2.00, 2.45-3.15 and 4.15-4.45
Maypole dancing 2.00- 2.45
Scouts will be serving tea and cakes.
Ice cream van.
Fair ground ride/bouncy castle 1-6
Bar hosted by wheatsheaf pub Oakham 1-6
Various charity stalls including tombola and Pimm's stall.
FREE face painting 1-6
Lets all have a great day and don't forget your picnic.
