Agincourt Oak Tree Planted Cutts Close Oakham Rutland Planted by Oakham Town Council 2017
Today a commemorative tree was planting in Cutts Close this morning.
Cllr Lucas asked the council if she could plant a tree in Cutts Close later in October 2015
at no cost to the council.
The Council said no because of the associated costs upto £500.
she was given permission to plant the tree at Royce's Playing field which
had not restrictions.
She did not want the tree planted there she kept it in her garden and she pestered
the council to plant it Cutts Close, eventually her persistence paid of in March 2016
the council agreed to spend money and give her consent to plant the tree in Cutts Close.
4 votes for and 3 votes against and 1 abstention.
