Oakham Town Council Reject Finance Working Groups Draft Budget in Full
At Wednesdays Council meeting The Finance Working Group made up of Cllr
Michael Haley and Cllr Peter Ind Presented the council with a draft budget for
2018 - 2019. It contained many mistakes,
A donation received a year ago for Christmas lights was included in the budget
section which would have seen the sum added to the precept demand.
Missing was the reclaiming of costs for the planned foot path repairs in Cutts
Close. The Council had agreed to use reserve to pay for the repair and claim
the spent reserves back by via the precept over a period of years.
Perhaps if Cllr Michael Haley our chairman spent less time looking into ways
to exclude me from the council he would make less mistakes.
