Once again Oakham Town Council has failed to provide members with copies of the internal audit
or any other correspondence from the internal auditor.

Dear Cllr Adam Lowe (Chairman)

I have received a copy of the agenda for the extra meeting to be held next Wednesday.

I am wondering why the internal auditors name and signature has been scribbled out this year.
On the return?

The internal auditor we use is a company, so I can not see any reason why the details are scribbled
out. I find the same on the councils website. I think scribbling out makes the council look unprofessional.

Please could you also explain why once again  members of the council has not received a copy of our internal
audit or copies of any correspondence received from the auditor.
Both are a requirement shown in our financial regulations.

Please could you explain why the internal audit report has not been published on the councils website.

From

Cllr Martin Brookes
