English Martyrs, Oakham, Ask Oakham Town Council to pay for new fencing to protect children from 'Paedophile' Neighbour
On Wednesday Oakham Town Council will in exempt be considering a request from the
local primary school.
The Schools chairman of governors fears for the safety of the children if Oakham Town
Council does not replace the boundary fence between the children's play area and the
school.
The school is also concerned about men visiting the play area in Willow Crescent during
school hours, the men are drinking alcohol and using drugs.
I personally feel the school has a responsibility to ensure its security is up to a standard needed to
protect the children.
The Town Council should maintain its fence but I am not sure it should be paying more money
because the school does not think it is adequate.
