Outcome of Special Case Hearing
A former Police Constable has been found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour in regards to the misuse of confidential police computer systems.
A Special Case Hearing, held in private on Friday (20 September), determined that the officer would have been dismissed from the force, if he was still serving, as his behaviour amounted to gross misconduct.
He was found to have breached the following standards:
discreditable conduct
orders and instructions
confidentiality.
