Rutland and Stamford Sound Community Radio Launch Day 5th March 2021
After such a very long wait. I could not hear the launch of our new community radio station Rutland & Stamford Sound such a shame it crashed. The test stream worked well all week. I had tried various players and even enabled Alexa. I am guessing the management team under estimated the demand when they subscribed to the radio provider and they may have to change to another that permits more listeners.
I finally managed to get to listen very late in the morning, what I heard was good. I would like to be honest, most of the Jingles are dreadful I can't believe the station paid for them.
The presenters are good, mostly former Rutland Radio and Rachael Persani is quite a good local news reader.
