Sensory Garden Oakham Castle New Funded by Lottery Heritage Fund Oakham Rutland
Lets hope this garden lasts longer than the last project, the wild flower garden on the far side created by school children and Oakham in Bloom has gone, perhaps the rabbits ate it?
I wondered what the horseshoe was and then one day I saw it is a seat a clever addition although I would not sit on the ends of the horseshoe nearest to the castle, local dogs thing its a new loo.
I do wish the council would get the bins in the town emptied more than once a day now our open spaces are used more, some people see the full bin and just throw litter and dog poo bags next to the bins.
