Phillip Roland Dyke Former Hailey Hall School Teacher Sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court at Hendon Magistrates Court 23rd June 2022
Mr Dyke had previously pleaded guilty to a number of charges. at a hearing at St Albans Crown Court on the 25th April 2022
Mr Dyke had sexually abused two pupils between the age of 11 to 16 in his care more than 10 times.
Mr Dyke was given suspended sentences and was subjected to a curfew and will be electronically tagged for 6 months, he was also given a community rehabilitation order.
Mr Dyke told the Judge through his barrister 'I empathy for all my victims, I can not remember them all'
Mr Dykes barrister also told the court his client had considered suicide.
Mrs Dyke listened to what her husband had done and wept in court.
Mr Dyke was jailed for eight years in 2013.
Phillip Dyke,of Ramsey, Cambs, abused boys over an eight-year period in the 1970s and 80s, at Hailey Hall, near Hertford.
In 2013 Mr Dyke admitted charges including Buggery, gross indecency and indecent assault and one charge of taking an indecent photograph.
Mr Dyke remains on the sex offender register for life.
